At age fifteen, I buried myself in classic novels. Bram Stoker’s Dracula and Mary Shelly’s Frankenstein (among others) captured my imagination with their deep themes and eerie atmospheres. Now, I bring my own twist to the YA Fantasy genre by combining the thoughtfulness of the classics with action-packed modern adventures.

I’m in my final year of studies at The Author Conservatory, receiving three years of intense training in novel writing and marketing from professionals such as Brett Harris, Kara Swanson, and Katie Phillips. I also launched a successful virtual assisting business, Hollis Lee Virtual Assistance, just one month after graduating high school to help authors and entrepreneurs reach their audiences via creative social media and engaging newsletters. I will be published in Voices of the Future: Stories of Whimsy and Warriors in June, 2025. I’ve also served as a community assistant for The Young Writers’ Workshop for several years, mentoring and supporting teenage writers.

On the rare occasion I’m not writing, you can find me wrapped in a tortilla blanket, crocheting while watching old movies. I have a soft spot for a cup of tea and books on philosophy or politics. And after a long day, I’ll whisk myself to a bygone era through 1800s music on my piano and violin.
